WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE REST

Welcome to our web site dedicated to incident and emergency management.

Why are we different? Every one of the courses featured on this site are run at your premises - we value your time as much as you do. Sapira have many years of experience providing implementation advice, undertaking site audits and running training exercises, all of which are a part of the process which defines Sapira (Survey, Assessment, Planning, Implementation & Review) and makes us unique.

Documented plans and procedures only truly become effective if they are tested and proved, why not let us test drive your process and see if, together, we can identify the gaps ?

INCIDENT & EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

If you were asked to define the difference between an Incident and Emergency could you do it? We have been training and consulting in this field for many years. Our team of consultants and trainers benefit from their experiences gained in the field as senior commanders and business leaders. We can help you develop an appropriate response to an incident or, when it reaches it, the Crisis Point. All of our courses reference legislative compliance ensuring that they include the relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Policies in existence within your organisation. If they don't exist then we can help you produce them.

SPILL RESPONSE & MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Sapira's trainers have been at the sharp end of incident management training for many years. We know that when things go wrong that using a spill kit is the last part of the process. Choosing the right spill kit training course can therefore be difficult and choosing the right chemical spill training even worse.

We are one of the few specialist companies who provide oil spill training and chemical spill training dedicated to industry, we don't manufacture and as a result are completely unbiased.

Working with some of the leading pharmaceutical companies we have developed our courses to cater for situations where safety data sheets don't exist and the decisions made by the incident commanders about intervention are therefore crucial. As a result all of our courses include sections on incident and emergency management as well as use of spill equipment. Health, Safety and Environmental management systems require organisations to establish, implement and maintain procedures to identify and respond to potential emergencies. All of our courses are specifically designed to fulfil this requirement.

Business Continuity

Every organisation hopes that disasters will never strike and most, unless regulated to do so, rely on old out of date Emergency Plans. This approach really tells its own story. An acceptance that the disaster will happen and an assumption that these unpractised plans will work.
